Privacy policy
How NIVR uses account information, public profile content, messages and analytics.
Account and profile information
NIVR uses your email and authentication information to provide account access. Your profile can include a username, display name, bio, status, avatar, cover image, links, social links, music and appearance settings.
Profile content is public and may be indexed by search engines. Only publish information you want others to see.
Messages and analytics
NIVR stores profile messages and optional sender names for the recipient’s inbox. An optional name does not verify the sender’s identity.
NIVR records profile-view and link-click events, including referrer information when supplied, for creator analytics.
Invite rewards
When you sign up through an invite link, NIVR records the referring account and whether you verify your email and complete a public profile. Referrers see a progress count, not your email or message contents.
To limit duplicate rewards, NIVR keeps protected email-derived identifiers and reward records. These fraud-prevention records can remain after account deletion. Subscription rewards also create a billing-credit record with Stripe.
Security information
NIVR uses request information to protect the service and prevent spam. The application converts IP-based rate-limit keys into keyed hashes before storing them in its limiter. Hosting providers may still receive IP addresses as part of handling requests.
Application diagnostic logs record operational events and error codes and are designed to exclude message contents, passwords and tokens.
Service providers
NIVR uses Supabase for account authentication, database storage and uploaded images, Vercel for hosting, and Stripe for payment processing. NIVR stores billing identifiers and subscription status to manage Premium access. Card entry is handled by Stripe checkout.
Cookies and embedded content
Authentication uses browser storage and cookies to maintain your session. Creators may include music from YouTube, SoundCloud or Spotify, as well as links and media hosted elsewhere.
Loading external media can send request information to those providers, which handle it under their own policies.
Your account controls
You can edit your public profile through the dashboard and request account deletion through Settings. Successful deletion removes your account, associated profile data and uploaded avatar and cover files from active NIVR storage.
Deleting your account does not remove third-party copies or search-engine caches. It does not automatically erase all records held by service providers or copies in backups.
Open account settingsMinimum age
NIVR is for people aged 13 and older. Children under 13 must not create an account or submit personal information.
